In March 2006, Heartland Bank established another line of business and added a broad range of products and services, creating Heartland Bank Financial Security Group. This wholly owned subsidiary is in the business of providing group and individual life, health and long-term care insurance, as well as annuities*, mutual funds* and securities* to Heartland Bank’s customers. It administers more than 300 corporate and individual pension and 401(k) plans throughout the United States and acts as a consultant for hundreds of individual customers. Its offerings include large-group insurance products and programs from well-respected institutions – MassMutual Financial Group, Mutual of Omaha and Guardian Advantage Group.

Heartland Bank Financial Security Group also has partnered with Chrysler Insurance Company to consult on and service 401(k) programs for many Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealers across the United States.
